Client oriented service approach

"Serge Charbonneau, Principal Consultant for Xelaration, was a member of the IBM Rational Tools team at ING Canada from March 2007 to March 2008.

During that time, Serge was responsible for administration, first line support, training and special projects on the IBM Rational tools used at ING: Clearcase, ClearQuest and RequisitePro.

He was appreciated for his client oriented services approach and good communication skills.

As the need for resources increased at ING, Serge put together a team of highly skilled ClearCase/ClearQuest administrators, Eugenio Picado and Patrick Dugal, that joined ING in July 2008 and that are still with us to this day (June 2008)."

Christian Viens, IBM Rational Tools Team Lead, ING Canada, Montreal, QC

Vast experience

"Serge Charbonneau, Principal Consultant for Xelaration, was contracted by GEOCOMtms from October 2004 to April 2005.

His first mandate was to assist the GEOCOMtms development team in its effort to implement the IBM Rational Unified Process (RUP).

Serge was directly involved in teaching, reviewing and supporting resources in implementing RUP on several engineering projects in our organization.

In his second mandate, Serge took on the position of Development Manager/Project Director within the team.

In the both cases, Serge fulfilled his mandates successfully.

His vast experience in software project lifecycle methodologies and best practices was a key component in the RUP implementation success.

We will not hesitate to recommend or use his services in the future."

Key contributor of the initiative

"During a period ranging from July 2004 to June 2005, the National Bank of Canada's IT sector used the services of Serge Charbonneau, Principal Consultant for Xelaration.

Serge was instrumental in structuring and in contributing to the implementation of a well defined methodology for our business analysis discipline.

Using the IBM Rational Unified Process (RUP) as a basis, processes and artifacts were tailored to efficiently support business modeling and requirements elicitation at the Bank.

The expertise that he has with formal methodologies along with his knowledge of the IBM Rational suite of products made him a key contributor of the initiative.

Interestingly, we promptly received very positive feedback from our internal clients impressed by the way requirements accurately and extensively convey their business needs.

With this mandate, the National Bank and Xelaration established a sound business relationship that we will be happy to leverage in the future."

Louis Choiniere, Manager of Business Analysts, National Bank of Canada, Montreal, QC

Sound technical expertise

"Serge Charbonneau, Principal Consultant for Xelaration, provided consulting services to Forensic Technology Incorporated (FTI) during the period of April to October 2003.

His main task was to complete a vision document defining a Global Architecture for all FTI products.

The document identified the scope of the first two iterations for the project.

This Global Architecture will allow the FTI existing and future products to be used as building blocks to create solutions tailored to the specific needs of FTI customers.
